Click to viewI'm glad I got see The Cramps a few years back, even if the show wasn't that memorable (it wasn't the band's fault but the stage was too low, and I am [evidently] too short, so I didn't get to see much). It would've been nice to have another chance to see them live. Alas.
I bought my first Cramps album when I was probably around 17 or so (maybe younger) after hearing 'Eyeball in my Martini" on the SkaPunk show on The Edge radio station. I'm glad that radio show still plays to this day.
I longed to perform 'Alligator Stomp' at the Essenza song lyric slam but couldn't quite get up the nerve to perform it the way I thought it should be done. However, I did read 'Can Your Pussy Do The Dog' in a rather memorable moment at one of the song lyric slams - right as a family with young children walked in to get some coffee. Hehehe. Not quite what they bargained for at a coffee house in Mesa on a week night I imagine. *grin*
I'm sad to hear the news. R.I.P Lux Interior.
