I love the line "I know it's not spring here, but it is in New Zealand which is exotic and upside down". Is that really how people view NZ? Exotic? Upside down I understand, but exotic? Sure there are some things that are very different here, but weird.
Does anyone else think it's funny that I'm on a book buying rampage of books written by Maureen Johnson? Every time I say her name I just want to go "And Maureen Johnsen, just back from her spectacular one night engagement at the eleventh street lot, will perform Native American tribal chants, backwards, through her vocoder, while accompanying herself on the electric cello, which she has never study"
