i have caved to Hellogoodbye but i will not cave to Say Anything.
sometimes it feels good to get rid of things.
in a rage of cleaning, i ripped up and threw away:
- some fear before stuff
- some old This day forward stuff
- some posters from my "away from home" days
- lots of shitty written journal entries about a boy
- and other miscellaneous stuff.
ripping things feels good.
lucero was beautiful last night. dudes in plaid shirts were getting rowdy in the front and throwing up their fists against me! style. they played for a long time for not being the headliner. Ben started to close with the new song "The War" but then his amp fucked up so dudes in the front asked for a Red 40 song... and he played it! i got nothing but love for "My best girl" but that song is so cheesily great. i wanted "hate and jealousy" but no dice. however, they played "drink til you're gone" and "nights like these" back to back. me and tammy jo's songs <3
i feel bad for anyone who read this and doesn't like/know who lucero is.
talks about "touring", and my good old dashboard confessional days from the lovely Michigan Allie! apparently, SxSw is the new/old Skate and Surf.
speaking of... i was on the phone with miss emily anne driskill when i discover the greatest news ever...
