Freedom ... (public entry)
This is it, folks, my VERY LAST day @ the hospital! WOOHOO.
I've got 4 weeks of 'pure' freedom ahead of me. Of course there are the obligatory holidays to be spent with family etc, but other then that, no more therapies, shrinks ('shrimps' to my girls, you know who i mean), ...
I'm deadly excited to go home. I admit i wasn't ready for it 2 weeks ago, so i thank y'all for the encouragement about me staying longer, but now i think i'm ready. I had some chats with therapists, shrinks, mentors, and the lot, this week, all in the name of 'closure', and they all said i was okay to go home.
It does kind of feel weird to leave this place/village/community/whatever... after 6 months of safety, but i now feel okay with going home. Phew.
