it's been a bit longer than a little while since i've posted.
hope everyone is well.

christmas was pretty good. I got a Judy Garland box set and an amazing new teapot. Patrick got me a super expensive lamb-skin mini-trench coat. tis spiff.
The day of christmas was pretty good, except my dad took some painkillers and passed out at the wheel, so i had to go meet them (him and laycee) and drive his truck back to Rome, where i was then stuck.
I love tea.

Fray came down for a few days. That didnt go very well.
I think i'm kinda crawling out of my skin right now, but in an extremely repressed way. I seem to be taking out my stress by over-emphasizing my displeasure with things.

new years was blue dawn and some crying and being irritated.

I did get a chance to hang out with Tiki, Art, Fray, Laura, Jamie (straight jamie), and Drew.
All of whom are quite fantastic.

Today was my first day at Dunwoody. i've been out of school since before the week of Thanksgiving break.
The school isn't quite what i was hoping for. The choral and drama departments basically dont exist.
I miss Etowah. I have a British woman who just got off the boat (yes she took a boat here) this summer. She's teaching my Film and Video Arts class. The class is apparently usually a lot of fun when the normal teacher teaches it, but everyone says this lady ruins it. She's also the head of the "drama department". Last year was the first time they had ever gone to 1-act. They havent done a musical since the 80's. Bah. But anyways, this lady wants to focus the class on British films. Our assignment for tonight is to find 5 British actors and write facts about them. Now, anyone who knows me knows that I LOATHE British films. They make me very, very, very depressed. Especially the comedies. This may be a little piece of heaven-turned-hell for me. I live for film, but i dont know if i can deal with having something i so despise as part of my everyday routine. gah.

another problem: school takes place during the hours i'm usually sleeping. This is going to be a difficult transition. I usually fall asleep around 6 or 7 and wake up at 2 or 3. Today i definitely passed out when i got home and woke up at 10. I guess I could start a schedule where i sleep from 4 to midnight every then stay up from then on. that might work out better for me.

Positive things about the new school, so as to stop being such a whiny bitch.
It is very easy to get around. Everyone seems very nice. There seem to be a lot of lesbians, two of whom that are in my lit class are very, very, very attractive twins. People seem to like me. People are already saying hi to me in the halls, and i've made quite a few friends. My classes should be very easy. I've got spring break in the middle of this semester and then i'm FINISHED with all this! It's nice to have something to have such a milestone in sight. can you believe it kids?

Other things of importance: I really miss Daimes and I wish that somehow we could just talk sometimes; I feel like most of my real connections with people are lost, no one calls me anymore; i feel like Kiri doesnt really exist at all anymore.
Such is life, though.
I got an awesome new Warhol poster of Marilyn today. It's fantastic.
Oh! Fray made me a "Mrs. Dr. Block" for Christmas. It has a built-in Vick's inhaler and it came with an instruction manual called "Have a Happy, Healthy -Dr.- Block"
Oh, also, we did a photo shoot of me in a bikini while Fray was here. Fray was the photographer, Teri was the choreographer, Drew was a spectator, and Art was the experienced porn-star who knew a bit too much about how to take a good picture of a semi-naked chick.

Hopefully Fray will give me the pics soon, so i can post them.
my hair is more red now.

ok, i suppose that's all for now.
i may try to make more posts, just to better focus on events, i'm a bit detatched and floaty lately.

ToE!!!!

If you dont love me, i'll kill you,
Lynzy
