extremely belated HARRY POTTER reaction post

My laziness in regards to making LJ posts is inexcusable. I could blame work, or anxiety, both of which are a little bit guilty, but it's mostly just me being lazy. And I aim to rectify that.

My goal? To post at least once a day for a week. Let's see if I can do this.

So, what did I think of Deathly Hallows? LOVED IIIIT.

The Bill/Parker thing you mentioned reminded me of a particular artwork I saw on DeviantArt: it was a commission someone had asked for, of Snape and his Patronus. This was before DH's release, and the person asked for it to be the shape of a phoenix. It's a gorgeous piece but after DH came out, all of the comments were, "lol his patronus iz a doe bitch". I felt so bad for her.

Ugh, people suck. Because she was supposed to be psychic, apparently? Maybe she should clearly label it as 'art that was made before the release of DH'. I mean, a lot of people probably have AU RPGs and plotlines at this point, so ... yeah. :\

Mm, she made a P.S. regarding that, and had to keep making additional edits because people weren't paying attention. I think the worst part about it is that she's a huuuuuuuge Snape fangirl and everything thinks she hasn't read the book or something. I love her art, it's just sad people are dumb and ruining the commission piece for both the artist and person that requested it. I don't think anyone else could've forseen what the patronus was going to be, so fuck 'em.

Yeah, seriously. Ugh. I hope at least a few people were ignoring the canon bit and commenting on her artistic talents (which is what DeviantArt is sort of for, right?). I mean, c'mon. Because no one has never drawn fanart that doesn't match up with canon before?
