I had a somewhat busy weekend that involved me failing at LJ, again. On Friday, I did the volunteer thing at Green Venture (filing and cleaning, woo yeah; I'm working on a media outreach thing this week) and went to see PotC III with Jess and Amanda during the evening. After that, Don and I went to the Embassy, followed by a gay karaoke bar. I sang karaoke and probably broke people's ears, but I'm proud of my random bit of tipsy courage.
On Saturday, I felt ill for the majority of the day. Later on, a few of us went to Amanda's house and hung out, followed by watching the town's Heritage Day fireworks. Fun times. Sunday was basically a write-off, although I did manage to plan out my courses for this year. Kind of:
CMST 2F03 Professional Writing
CMST 2K03 Political Economy of the Media
CMST 3K03 Media Audiences and Effects
CMST 3C03 Media and Social Issues
ART HIST 2I03 Renaissance and Baroque Art
INDIG ST 1A03 Introduction to Indigenous Studies
MUSIC 3U03 Jazz
ENGLISH 2R03 Monsters and Magic
THTR&FLM 3L03 Film History: 1941 to the Present
MMEDIA 2F03 The History of Graphic Design
I may have to replace one of the random courses with a required Communication Studies course. :\ However, I refuse to get rid of "Monsters and Magic". BEST COURSE TITLE EVER, Y/N? And I need the electives! Electives = random. Therefore, random = good. I'll probably get rid of the Art History or the Multimedia course, simply because I'm not sure how they'll fit into my schedule.
Anyway.
opiumgaze AND I ARE GOING TO SEE RUFUS WAINWRIGHT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT'S GOING TO BE QUITE GRAND!
(Oh, and Doctor Who's "Blink"? Scary like whoa. D: Not as scary as "The Empty Child"/"The Doctor Dances", but still scary. 'sup, Ada from Bleak House!)
(Also, House? TRITTER = WHAT. Please do not come back Tritter. You're worse than Vogler.)
TIME TO SEE RUFUS. I AM RLY EXCITED. I LEAVE YOU WITH RUFUS MACROS.
RUFUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
This post started with some degree of coherence, I swear.
