Job Updates
Okay, okay. So I finally got my lazy ass out there and found me some jobs.
Job #1: Best Buy
Job #2: Lowe's
Eh... I'd say it's in the bag. Only requirement now is that I pass the drug test... which I'm pretty damn sure is okay. LOL. I can't waith though. Think of all the discounts at Best Buy!!! Yep, I'm drooling already.
I found a pretty cool town home to live in. It's got the pool, jacuzzi, and front gate to keep all the crackheads out. I have to admit, I feel pretty cool driving up to the keypad and punching in my SUPER SECRET PASSWORD NUMBER!!! Makes me feel incognito. Haven't taken the pool for a test drive yet. I should do that soon, eh? On the other hand, rent's a bitch, so I should take advantage of these things while I can. My roomate Daniel's super cool too. He lets me use a bunch of his stuff while I'm getting situated... yes, even his PROJECTION SCREEN! It's super cool. I hooked up my PS2 to it last week and started playing a bunch of video games when I was bored. Man, it's pretty awesome controlling a life-size black dude with tattoos and ghetto clothes running up and down the street taking out the local authorities with dual uzis and sawn off shotguns (gotta have the Grand Theft Auto man!)
Went to see some shows already. I found out a buddy I made online was playing last weekend, so I went to go check his band out. Super sweet! They remind me of the Mars Volta a whole lot, so I couldn't miss!
Well that's about it for now. Some other cool stuff... I realized I live like 2 blocks from everything! The mall is down the street, the grocery store is down the other street, and both Best Buy and Lowe's are right across the street. I live in like the best part of town EVER! And I gotta admit, the girls in the mall are pretty hot. Ya, you knew that was coming.
So now I've got work to look foward to, though 2 part time jobs as I recall means NO FREE TIME!!! That's okay, I just wanna save money for now. I've got plenty of time to party later. I gotta start thinking about film school very soon... and that stuff costs BIG BUCKS!!! It's okay, it'll all be worth it.
