Homar wants to see the stuff that makes my guitar sing. All right buddy. My setup is as follows:
THE GUITAR...
There she is. My pride and joy. '61 Reissue Gibson SG. Plays like a charm, sings like a beast. It better, seeing as how I paid a whopping $1350 for it! Considering the list price on this guitar is well over $2500... I got a damn good deal since I got it when I worked at the local music store. I mean damn, that's more than most people's first car. It's got a Rosewood fretboard and '57 Classic Gibson Humbuckers. It came fully loaded with a harshell Gibson case and everything. I like the fact that it's super light and the double cutaway makes soloing easy as pie. Basically, it's the shiznat.
I run my guitar straight through my volume pedal into my amp...
THE HALF STACK...
It's a Marshall JCM 900 SL-X. It packs 100 watts and is the only 900 series Marshall amp to be entirely loaded with tubes. I think the best feature on it is 2 Master Control Volumes, so I can play at 2 totally different levels. That's awesome when I need to stand out from the band at certain points in the songs. Over all its got a good tone, but it lacks Reverb, which I could really use. I got it for cheap too, when I worked at the music store. $350 if I remember correctly.
And yes, that's a bobble-head on my amplifier. His name's Ray and he likes to rock out with his cock out! He headbangs while I play. Whaddayaknow. He must be like my biggest fan EVER.
At the moment I run my Marshall through a Peavey 4x12 cab. It's pretty shitty. But its not mine and it didn't cost anything so I'm happy. I'm actually working on getting a Mesa Boogie cab soon. Probably after J gets a job at a music store in California... so I can get a damn good deal.
THE EFFECT PEDALS...
My pedals are very limited at the moment. So far its only a Boss Chromatic Tuner, Boss Flanger and Boss Digital Delay 3. I plan on upgrading when I gets the moneys. I want my effects setup to be VERY EXTENSIVE so I get a broad range of sounds... especially when I get all experimental and spacey with my music. OOOOOOH YEAH!
These all run through my effects loop too. Except for my volume control switch pedal. (And If Homar gets me that wah upgrade for Xmas like he promised, then it'd be an honor to add to my setup.) ;-D
The pedalboard I made myself... with the help of Aaron, my partner in crime and awesome handyman. I've got velcro on all the pedals, so they stick to the board. Yah, they ain't goin' nowhere!

That about does it for my setup. It's come a LONG WAY in the past year. I owe most of it to Jason... he played a big part in helping me shape up. I plan on adding ALOT to it in the near future though. I'm pretty much gonna go all out with Top-of-the-Line stuff. Even if I have to spend the $$$ BIG BILLZ $$$. Totally worth it though. I'll sound like a god. BWAHAHAHAHAHA~~~~
PS... what's a setup without the inspiration? HAHAHAHA...
