The tasks I had set out for myself at work today were few:
1. Talk to those people.
2. Draft persuasive e-mails.
3. Draft summary e-mails.
4. Send those e-mails.
5. Update that manual.
In 8 hours? I did manage to talk to those people, but only hours apart, and only for 30 minutes to each one. It's the follow-up that always kills you. And the technological snafus.
I drafted the e-mails, but neither was strong in persuasion or summation, so in the drafts folder they remain. I doubt either will have much of an impact anyway. I'm at the point where I'd pay for say, just to get things over with.
I did update that manual, but since it has to be discussed via e-mail (sigh), it can't move on to the next step either.
At least I did manage to convince someone of the existence of
this show, so the day not a complete waste. Ha!
Further evidence!
And the first leaping spider of spring leapt upon me. Aww. I hug you back, Mother Earth.
