I bought you a present, but I kept it for myself
I thought about getting one of these for a friend whose birthday always sneaks up on me after Christmas. She's a full time computer nerd, and a part time Who fan, so it may be a good fit.
I need a backup plan, but it's too cold to go out shopping. Maybe I'll just make her a card that entitles the bearer to Something, Sometime, Once the Giver Gets Her Act Together. Really, it's the possibility mentioned in the subject line that's the most probable outcome.
Talked to my dad last night, who's having to fend for himself for the first time in many years, as my mother's away baby- and grandbabysitting. He complained how difficult it was to come home after a hard day at work and then have to cook dinner.
