contemplating the soupless situation
Last night I was going to make soup.
Until I returned from the shops avec soup ingredients, finding myself too tired to make soup.
Tonight I was going to make soup.
Until I spent considerable minutes trying to unwrap an amazon.co.uk flat wrap package without destroying its structural integrity. I was trying to stealthily extract the calendar from within so I could repack it with another calendar for my mother. Tricky and thrifty. Still hard to disguise the contents, though. Even harder when everything must be itemized on the customs form.
Tomorrow, soup. Unless my slothful ways persist.
The amount of dishes I had to do tonight!
At least sticking my hands into the blisteringly hot rinse water cured me of my hiccups.
