Well, library funny.
Lost in the periodicals stacks, I thought I spied the following headline:
"Commissioner Sousa holds ANGST Conference, March 1982."
Fortunately, the conference was free of strife, as it was really called the Alaska Natural Gas Transportation System (ANGTS) Conference. No word on whether or not brass bands were present for the duration.
Some fresh angst or angts for me before my big road trip. Having fixed all of the car's other leaks, holes, and complaints, I fill up today only to find the gas gauge on the fritz. According to my calculations, as long as I don't go under the 1/4 tank line, I should be safe. With one eye on the gas gauge, one ear listening out for the infiltration of honky tonk stations, and half a brain writing another library presentation, it should make for an interesting drive.
More fun facts for the road? I still haven't packed, planned, or otherwise. And my back has completely seized up. Don't make me change the entire itinerary.
