librarian love fest!

September is for librarian marriages, it seems. Very nearly two in two weeks.

Good luck to them. Well, slightly less luck to the one I don't like. She's going to rue parts of that guest list. One particularly loathesome librarian in attendance had to take today off to 'get ready.' He's not in the wedding party, so I can't imagine what's keeping him. Or can I?

Leaves wedding present to last minute, only to find shops closed. Bride boggles at receiving can of "Bush's Wedding Beans."

Pulls one good suit out of closet to find jacket and trousers fused together in true Elvis jumpsuit fashion. Drunken barbecuing melts polyester, you say? Best pull the flannelly Lumberjack Special from the back of the closet.

In nuptial-driven haste, reverses vehicle through closed garage door. Realizing he has forgotten the Wedding Beans, drives back through the damaged garage door. Upon retrieval, reverses through the door again. Runs over and kills Bambi's mother on the way to the church.

These stories are only lightly fictionalized.

The very best wedded wishes to the next knot-tying nabob of knowledge. Said librarian gave me some nifty tea gadgetry today. Tea for me doesn't need to be fancier than bag-in-cup, but I'm eager to give this thing a whirl. And the teas! Imagine a cat let loose in a catnip library, and you'll have a fairly accurate picture of how I spent my afternoon. Between this and the recent tea delivery from galiena_pvszr, I should be sufficiently tannined well into the new year.

And my Amazon stuff came today! A very good weekend, indeed.

And happy wedding wishes to other freshly marrieds too, even if they're not librarians. What? I mean, what?
