Roving bands of teenagers are stalking the neighborhood, selling lemonade at $1 per glass.
When I was in the cold drinks business, it was 25 cents, and my sister and I had a static operation at the end of the driveway. We could make enough selling to the garbagemen on Friday to take ourselves out for ice cream that evening.
Now it's all big, floppy signs and bikinis.
Much more success with the housework this afternoon. The dishes, laundry, and garbage disposal were all finished by 10 a.m.
I've settled in for a Monty Python afternoon. There isn't a rule that Monty Python must be watched on Sundays, but it's the day when the longing asserts itself the strongest. It'll give me some mental padding for the week ahead.
