The winter doldrums are upon the locals. People are having babies. Other people are quitting their jobs.
What can I do to spice up my life? I quit a job two years ago, and don't feel the need to do it again. I am indispensible at the current place and content to remain that way.
I'd part my hair on the other side, if I wasn't already parting it in the middle. Maybe I'll part it mid-ways from ear to ear instead. The look of my office might improve when viewed from behind a thick brown fringe.
I could switch to the night shift. I've always liked the look of an empty library by moonlight. And it'll scare the night watchman. I don't like the idea of answering midnight genealogy questions, though. Unless I can tell every third caller they're descended from carnies.
