Why is it, nothing involved with admissions offices could be compared to a knife going through hot butter? Spring semester of '05 at Rose state was a personal triumph for me. A 3.75 GPA for the semester has been the pinnacle of my achievement at the college. Now, I have gotten a conditional letter from OU telling me based on my grades, I might be able to get back into school. The letter also said that I would be given a proper answer regarding REadmittance once I have sent them the transcript and a copy of my schedule for the summer. As soon as I found out that I got this 3.75 GPA semester, I made the 30-40 minute drive up to MWC to fetch some official transcripts.
I then make the trek across the University of Oklahoma in order to give the office of admissions my transcript. Once there I was told that I needed a 2.5 Cumulative GPA, I told the lady that it seemed a bit high for someone who was trying to get readmitted. She then told me that I wasnt listed as a readmit, so she fetched my records from the back. She then determined I WAS a readmit and then told me that it was now up to the college of Arts and Sciences to determine whether I am eligible for acceptance. This school sure is playing some games with my emotions. Everybody, keep your fingers crossed for me, I am tired of driving up to rose state all the time.
