So after checking my email a million and one times yesterday, I got nothing. Then today, an error message. Argh! So I replied from work and soon after got this...

I have to admit something to you, whenever I reflect on the past, I still feel bad about how I left things with you.
I'll never forget when you came over after we hadn't seen other for awhile and you so sweetly gave me a kiss, but I was a jerk and didn't return it.
I was going through a lot of stuff at the time and I wasn't ready to get involved again, but I wish I would've talked to you and explained instead of being a jerk.
Anyway, I'm sure it was no big deal and you probably never thought about it again, but I'm taking this opportunity to apologize now!
No, I'm afraid I never became a rock star, even though I would've loved to. I did actually get pretty good at guitar and played with a few bands here and there, but never anything too serious. About 3 years ago some guys I knew actually worked a deal to get us a spot on the Pepsi stage at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, and we were gonna open (along with a few other local bands) for Our Lady Peace and Goo Goo Dolls. But we scrapped the deal because we couldn't get all the guys together often enough to get our songs polished and ready in time for the show, it was really short notice. Plus we were just a cover band, and if you're gonna do covers you gotta do 'em perfect, or else have an awesome new interpretation that people will think is cool. At that time I already wasn't playing much with any bands anymore, and since then I haven't played with any bands at all. Now I'm just a computer geek at IBM, but I'm making great money.
I actually was married and got divorced about 5 years ago if you can believe that. I dated this girl for 3 years, then we got married and after 10 months she cheated on me with some guy at her work. (Bitch!) A lot of other stuff has happened since then, but I can tell you more about that later...
So what about you? Besides being a bigshot lawyer that is (we can just pretend, what the heck?).
Has some special guy come along and swept you off your feet yet? Where are you living these days?
