As long as you get it in by midnight on th 24th, then you're good to go. If it's midnight somewhere in the world, then you're in!
Remember, this does NOT have to be the final polished thing. However, your story does need to be AT LEAST 8K and have a beginning, a middle and an end. Briefly outlining scenes that you will later write is ok, as long as your artist/mixer still gets a good idea of what's going on.
