Yesterday, I was on my way to get a headset, and I saw this kid sitting at the junction of the main road and the off-ramp. He was excruciatingly thin, and had a little cardboard sign with black Sharpie writing on. I couldn't read it. He was too far away at first, and then, when I got a little closer, he turned the sign up as if to read it upside-down. He was worn around the edges and looked super sad. Then, right as I got up to the turn, a girl in a barista apron walked by the kid on the sidewalk. She said something in greeting, and the kid got up and just started hugging on her and crying. They were just standing there hugging. I felt like such an intruder, and I was just driving by! I wonder so much about people's stories when I see stuff like that.
That's all I've got for today. Hope everyone is having a good Easter if you celebrate that, and a good day in general.
