Today was the Greenfield Rock Festival. I saw Pathogenic play a show for the first time. All I can say is... damn, do I have a talented boyfriend! The show was really, really good! Jake Burns, I absolutely love you to death, you pig-squealing wunderkind. : )
Tomorrow Jake's dad is bringing Kiki over to stay with us for a little while. We probably can't afford to keep her here forever but we're hoping eventually she can come live here with us when I have a job. It'll be nice to have a friendly fat kitty poo around.
Last night, Jake and I went to a party at FSC and he finally got to meet Matt and John. John disappeared after ten or fifteen minutes (although that's nothing new, haha) but Jake and Matt really hit it off and have a lot in common. I guess Matt knows Pathogenic's guitarist. He said he'd come to the Lynn show in a week or two and I think that really made Jake happy, haha. Matt and John both really think he's cool, which is awesome- and better yet, JAKE ACTUALLY REALLY LIKES MY FRIENDS. You have no idea how sick I am of dating people that absolutely have no interest in meeting my friends and don't want anything to do with them. We had a couple of beers and then went home.
I'm sorry if you're all sick of hearing about my boyfriend. He's really a rare breed and I'm really fucking lucky I met him, I'm still getting over that, hahaha.
Meghan and Christine, we should hang out soon! Hopefully I will get a job in that doesn't drug test in the next couple of weeks and I won't have to take a prolonged smoking break (that would really suck.)
