Post-Easter thoughts

I had a few days off for Easter and decided to spend them at home doing as little as possible. After all, a working girl is entitled to some laziness from time to time, right? If you don't count the hours I spent helping my daughter do her homework, I actually had the time to do something for myself, which seems almost a miracle these days. I managed to visit some friends and have a sushi dinner with them, spent a few hours playing Airport City on my smartphone, watched two whole movies I'd been meaning to catch up with for a long time (Skyfall and Brave), watched four episodes of the oldie but goodie Star Trek TOS and a few hours' worth of scientific documentaries on TV, ate an insane amount of lasagne and chocolate eggs at my parents' on Easter day, and even spent a few hours lazying on the sofa under a fluffy duvet with a cup of tea and some good Cabin Pressure fanfiction on my tablet. Now, that's what I call a holiday! :)

Tomorrow I'll be back to the usual boredom: cleaning the house, doing the dishes and washing lots of laundry on top of the long hours in the office and the English lessons in the evening, but at least I'm feeling well rested now. I just wish this feeling would last until the end of the week.

What about you? Did any of you do anything special for Easter (if at all)?

holidays, laziness, real life
