I'm still alive, although I haven't updated here in forever. Shame on me!
Life's okay, although lately I've been working like mad for 10+ hrs a day including weekends. Oh, the joys of being self-employed and working with your husband in a small company 24/7! We are lucky enough not to have been hit by the crisis, but don't want to miss out on any opportunity given by the currently expanding market (we work in telecommunications), because we know that big success is often short-lived, so our idea is to ride the wave as long as it lasts and in the meantime invest our resources in the future of our company. It's not easy, but we try our best.
On the personal front, I've finally managed to book my tickets to Speaking in Tongues (YAY!) and will be in London with a couple of friends from Nov 28th to Dec 1st. Hopefully, culf will join us for the show, or at least for a dinner/evening out on one of those days. Can't wait to finally meet her, because then I will have met both of the evil couples of the LoM fandom, namely culf/dakfinv and m31andy/darthfi and the armageddon will begin! *g*
Been working on my LoM Ficathon story for a while now, which my recipient kirsteena is undoubtedly expecting. Asked for an extension because I'm still feeling a bit blah due to the nasty flu that's hit me this week and can't stay at the PC for too long, though. Sorry, hon! I'm almost finished anyway, and the fic will be with you soon (it was actually finished more than a week ago, but I didn't like it and took to rewrite most of it in the past few days because I wanted it to be better).
Now pardon me while I go cough up a lung in the corner. Damn flu!
