General update
Hello my darlings! Just a quick post to say that I haven't disappeared from the face of earth, and that I'm still alive and kicking. I've been commenting here and there on various LJs, but haven't caught up with my whole flist yet. Sorry guys, I'm doing my best.
The past few weeks have been busy, with a business trip to Amsterdam for an important trade fair and a visit to the Van Gogh Museum, followed by a more recent trip to Valencia and Barcelona to visit some new customers. Both went very well.
The downside is that now I'm knackered and I have a nasty cold due to the abrupt temperature difference (Spain = 27°C / Northern Italy = 8°C!), but I had a good time, so it was worth it. In BCN I even managed to meet sarie_gamgee and go out with her to eat lovely pinchos (they're similar to tapas but somewhat smaller). We squeed about John Simm and LoM in multiple languages for about two hours, while hubby pretended not to hear us and spent the time eating his weight in food, LOL. Can't wait to do it again! :)
Anyway, apart from this I haven't been up to anything particularly interesting lately. Work and family are eating my life as usual, but I've tried to find some much-needed time for myself every day, either reading, or finishing a jigsaw puzzle I began a few weeks ago, or simply sleeping to recharge my batteries. My social life is almost non-existent these days, but maybe it's a good thing, as I don't feel like wasting time talking about shallow things with people I hardly ever see while I'd very much prefer to spend quality time with my family or my online friends, with whom I probably have more in common than with my RL ones. Am I becoming a bit antisocial? Hmmm... *scratches head*
