sticky-post!

[[ooc note: Like the previous Yuuko did, this Yuuko didn't keep all of her powers in Avoria. But because she's so hideously powerful, she kept some of them, which is why she can still do magic and fulfill wishes. I'll probably update the rules every now and then, and sort of repost so that new members will see. Have fun!]]

Takuya's never heard of anything like a "wish shop" before, not even in a dump as weird as Avoria. Ordinarily he'd just dismiss it as a waste of time - seriously, a wish shop? But he's been thinking over what Ikuto told him a few days ago, about the different kinds of wishes you could make. And, while he was wandering around the town with nothing else to do, something about this place just caught his eye.

Now, before he's really thought about what he's doing, Takuya's inside the shop and trying not to inhale too deeply. He looks around, unsure if there's even anybody in.

[[present tense is the bane of me :( ]]

[[We can switch to asterixes and stuff if you want~]]

Suddenly, someone seems to step into the room. It appears to be Yuuko, upon closer inspection! There are two girls, one with short pink hair, one with long blue hair, following her, and she rests her hands on their shoulders.

"Welcome to my shop," she says, smiling slowly.

Okay, points for effect, but what's she got her hands on the girls for?... Takuya tries not to think about it much.

"It said outside that you could buy wishes in here... miss," he adds quickly. It isn't that he likes tagging honorifics onto the ends of all his sentences, but there's not much point in antagonising someone older than you until you can be absolutely sure they won't murder you for it. See, Takuya can philosophise too.

[[Nah, s'good practice XD ]]

"Yes. You can. I will grant your every wish, as long as you pay for it."

Of course Takuya can't see. It's not like people expect shounen protagonists to be intelligent.

He is just about intelligent enough to realise that the lady's probably not talking about cash. Which is fine by Takuya, because he hasn't got any. Still, he's wary. "What kinda paying?"

Yuuko read that guy's post. It all made sense, all of a sudden.

"It depends on the wish, boy." She sits down, the girls still at her side. It's kinda creepy.

Takuya can handle creepy, if it's the cackling evil villain type of creepy. Although Yuuko doesn't fit that description, so as things are he's still slightly freaked out. He's not going to show it, but still.

"What'd it be for something that's not such a big deal?" He pauses to think about what to say next, a rare occasion. "Like... If I lost something ages ago, and I asked for it back?"

The girls just keep smiling at him.

"It depends on what that thing was. How important it was to you."

There's something about this lady and her, uh, assistants which is really scaring Takuya in a way that giant angel monsters in spheres never did. But then, that's what he feels like whenever he thinks somebody else knows more than him.

Well, no point trying to skirt around the problem. "It was pretty important, yeah. I want my Digivice back."

As soon as she gets his name, she will know everything about him :>

"Then the price will be high."

[[no u. I'll see you on aim to discuss this...price B| ]]

Shhh, Takuya's not quite Watanuki-level stupid yet. And he's suspicious - so maybe the lady's not talking about monetary prices, but that still leaves a whole lot of stuff it could be. He wants his Digivice back badly, but not if he has to stab somebody for it.

"How about some idea of what kinda price?"

[[okay, so it's now Monday despite all evidence otherwise \o/ ]]

"Giving something up that you love. An activity. An item. Something like that." Have a sweet but kinda freaky smile!

Is that all? Takuya's about to lie and say stuff like attending school and eating vegetables is vitally important to him, but something tells him that might not be the best idea. Especially the second one.

"So what have I gotta do to go ahead with this thing?" He's none too keen on giving up anything he owns, but showing off in front of Ikuto will make up for that. (So self-centred, this kid.)

Yuuko will see right through you, you naughty naughty naughty boy..!

"Word your precise wish. I tell you the price. You say if you want to do it."

Probably a good thing, too. He might get scurvy.

"...I just said it, right? I want my D-Scanner back!"

She says football like a proper human, thankyouverymuch.
