My cousin left for school in LA about a year ago to study music so with him gone it was just Abel, Alex and me in our band... We don't hardly ever play anymore, but when we do, it's just mostly for kicks or because friend ask us to play with or for them.
So yesterday, my cousin invited us to go see him and his new metal band preform at his place in West Hollywood called "Whiskey A Go Go" The moment we got there...All my Cousin's Band mate did nothing but Dis us for lots of reason...And Alex, She's has quite a temper and something in her tiny asian brain snapped and soon enough we found ourselves in a band battle with them...
I dunno about you...but when a Jazz Band gets more ovation from a bunch of Metal Fans than for the Metal Band in Itself...Doesn't that mean that your metal band just suck ass? xD xD xD
Well probably due to some of Abel's Amazing Guitar Skills and Alex's freestyle Sax...while I trying to pull off a Ray Charles...
Anyway...The next thing I know. my Cousin pulled me to the side and asked me why I was disrespecting his new band and I was like "well sorry for defending ourselves" one thing lead to another and he ended up calling me a big shot which just rattles my head...and I told him I wasn't the one that turned his back on all his friends, family and ran off to LA...then he told me he doesn't want to see me anymore...
So now...I lost Jen...and my cousin...Two people that meant the world to me...That is great...
I told a friend of mines trying to look at it from a brighter side that I must've been getting pretty boring for God's Entertainment so he decided to roll the dice and shake some stuff up in my life...unfortunately...God must have a really serious case of bad luck because all he managed to do for me is place me deeper in the shitter, I'm still expecting that lolipop and that pat on the back any day now *LOL*
