Social networking sites have been very mind-numbing to me since Summer started, so I've been keeping away. Life feels more.. real, when people I interact with actually communicate with me in person of via call, so I've been avoiding the "auto-drive" of the internet more than usual.
I've been working at a gourmet grocery store for two months now. It's not great, but it's decent. I go in, turn off my brain, and before I know it it's time to go home. I can't really complain.
My Summer sand volleyball team won first place in our division and championships. It's kind of crazy to look back on it, and realize that your team was officially the best team. I'm not used to being on the winning side, but I'd say that it's a damn good feeling. Indoor season starts in two weeks, I'm on the college's men's team this season as opposed to co-ed/co-rec. It should be more intense.
I'm moving from my house in downtown Ann Arbor to a house outside of downtown more near the residential area. It's a nice neighborhood and my roommate seems to be as much of an at-home-introvert as I can be. Hopefully it works out well. I start moving in a couple of days.
School is starting in two weeks. It'll be nice to be busy and cram more facts inside my head.
For now though, my main concerns are enjoying the rest of Summer while it lasts. I think a trip to Cedar Point is in order.
