Bigotry:
My brother is an absolute jackass. He simply cannot seem to resist making fun of someone, based solely on appearance. Goes so far as to call them disgusting. When I tell him, "no, it's the action that was disgusting," he corrects me to say that it would have been acceptable, had they been attractive. And I'm stuck, staring, and he continues with, "You really doing think all people are created equal, do you?" So I say that I sure as hell do, and he laughs and calls me naive.
Had these people been attractive, they apparently would have been worth more.
What the fuck, asshole. You make me rage.
Also, mother; if you are a person in a foreign atmosphere, it is a good idea to respect their beliefs; meaning if you're entering a Muslim mosque, and you are a woman, you cover yourself out of respect for their beliefs. It does not mean that they are stupid, or that an American Muslim believes women to be less important than men, it simply means that you are respecting their culture and their tradition of modesty.
In short; argh.
