Friday night is TV night...
And it's totally not friday. But I'm going to rant about Friday's shows, anyway! 'Cause Friday's the best day for TV. o:
Battlestar;
Fucking Boomer.
Fuck. Ing. Boomer.
Seriously, who wanted Boomer back? Why seriously wanted the Old Man shooting, backstabbing, thought-New-Caprica-was-a-good-idea BOOMER back!? I can understand wanting more Sharon/Number 8 scenes. But for Pete's sake, give them to Athena! ATHENA KICKS SO MUCH ASS.
And on that note, Athena. D: Poor, poor Athena. Athena and Helo are two of my favorite characters, and in my opinion the only two characters in the entire series who have remained likable throughout the whole thing.
Apollo had his "I'm a lawyer not a pilot lolololol" shit.
Starbuck went from badass with attitude to bitch with too many drinks.
I never liked Dee.
Cally went all crazy there. And is now dead
I never liked Tyrol.
The Old Man is still the Old Man, and must be loved, but still.
Roslin is all, "I'm done being president. Shit sucks."
I've always hated Baltar.
Sam's in a coma (I never liked him, either).
Gaeta committed treason and was executed.
Besides the Number 8's (minus Boomer D:), Leoban is the only likable Cylon.
Goddamn Helen Tigh, in general. Nobody ever liked her.
And so, Athena and Helo, the only two who have remained faithful, sane, and gone through hell and back to protect their daughter (Hera=d'awwwwww....), get screwed. The ones who deserve it the least. I swear, I hope they get Hera back and go Mortal Kombat on Boomer's ass. :/
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:
Okay, so I know that Sarah is the title character, and therefore must be very important, and the episodes two weeks ago (The Good Wound) with her and Kyle? Amazing. But now, Kyle's gone, and...well...Sarah's just not as charismatic. She's kind of a loopy bitch. :/ Yes, so we KNOW she's not crazy anymore. Sort of. John and Derek at least don't think she's crazy (Cameron doesn't care), and the three dots turn out to be an Hunter Killer robot. Bam. Alright. Sarah's finally killed someone. Well, so has everyone else in the show, including your son, stop moping. That whole episode was just rather...unnecessary. Thought the line between John and Cameron about the pancakes was pretty good. I love John/Cameron interactions She smiled! Cameron actually smiled! Huzzah.
I'm far more excited for next week's episode. Just to say this, I hate Riley. I have since she showed up. She just annoys me. Endlessly. I'm really hoping Cameron kicks her ass five ways from Sunday, and John figures out he's being played. Trust the killer robot, John, you like her.
Dollhouse:
Oh, poor FBI agents whose name I have yet to remember due to his lack of badassery, but is played by the same actor who plays Helo and is ultimately very pretty. Poor, poor FBI agent.
I didn't see that coming. Victor? I didn't see that coming at all. But it made me laugh, because it made sense. Here's hoping Alpha swoops in to rescue him. Alpha=love. <3
I was rather disappointed with the episode as a whole. Echo's interesting, in that she's thinking outside the box and retaining skills and abilities she shouldn't otherwise have, and next weeks looks far more promising. Hnn. Also, I have no idea why that text up there is grey. o:
