New things...
I managed to snake my way into a graduate program. UMBC accepted me to their Emergency Health Services School - concentration in Admin, Policy and Planning. Suffice to say I am thrilled...and the program is distance, thus my ass remains parked in Syracuse.
To that - I committed to at least another year up here. Work has finally evened itself out, and I'm rather pleased with the state of things. Of course that's not to say there isn't plenty to be done, but the frustration has been replaced by resolve.
PS, I have a new apartment. I've actually been there a month as of this coming weekend...she's finally starting to feel like my own little piece of the world. I'm still not sleeping in my bed regularly... that's more of a loneliness issue than anything. I imagine it will fade, assuming my memory does..
I told one of my superiors here at Health Services yesterday, that I've been dreaming about killing zombies. She said it's because the students are coming back. Goddamn zombie-students...
