or: How I awoke at 5am and was unable to fall back into sleep
Due to my mother leaving the house at 5am and having sadly not considered my sleep into her plan of not loading her car until this morning. So I woke up to the sounds of the garage door going up. I tried to fall back asleep. Another garage door noise. I figured she'd put it down. Then it went up. AGAIN. And then many more times after that. We have 2 doors and it was all probably unintentional, but I was nontheless left awake and hungry by 6.
ETA: I went to Starbucks in my Where the Wild Things Are leggings, my pajama shorts and my blue hoodie looking pretty boss and yawning up a storm when the cashier notices me and says that I look familiar, asking if I am Olly's friend. I smile and say that yes, I am her friend. I realize now that I should have asked her name to continue on being friendly. Efffff. So many missed social cues in my life, I could write a book. Logan was working bar and said hey, noting that I was "flying solo today". It made me feel like a butterfly or something. Logan? Human Language? Please never stop being awesome.
...and on my way back to my car there was an Impala. FUCKING NOT EVEN KIDDING YOU, I SWEAR.

- TCM. Right now they are playing "A Canterbury Tale" and it's exciting for a few reasons, including the fact that I've stood in their places within the last 8 months. It doesn't hurt that one of the guys looks a little bit like Stephen Campbell Moore - mmm - or that the girl is naturally pretty and not botoxed and starved to death. She also has a plotline that doesn't entirely deal with brides, boys or babies.

"... I'll take marijuana. " - My iPhone. If I lived in the Discworld, I know that the iPhone would already have a small god and I would be one of the people contributing to its energy all the time. My life is on that phone. If I'm bored, I pop in my earphones and listen to music and play some games. It has my class schedule, my voice notes, my motherfucking phone, the ability for me to take photos without hauling around my Nikon D80 everywhere and have those photos turn out WELL. I can randomize restaurants, pull up driving directions on google maps, tune my instruments, check the weather and so so so many other things. It's amazing, though because I live next to a dead zone my service is iffy. I think we are going to try to get one of those AT&T signal boosters.

- I'm On An Impala. I'm On A Boat is still funny for me and while parts of the new lyrics are a little off, it doesn't matter because the picspam is funny.
- The prospect of seeing friendlies today. :D Yay.
