S'been a long time since I added words here. Life's been whirlwinding along. Really settling into my job - loving the work but oh-so-busy! A small and determined team makes for saturated days and more often than not, pooped nights. Months have shot past. Autumn is here. The trees are losing their leaves and I grab my "serious" rain coat on my way ( Read more... )

Just wanted to say that I'm really glad to hear everything is going well!

Dave was talking about going to visit a friend of his in Edmonton in May sometime, and I was contemplating stopping by with him, then popping over to Vancouver. Would you be up for a visit? I've always wanted to visit Vancouver and I might try and get an appointment to check out the UBC program I was interested in.

(you do know that vancover n' edmonton are 1200 kms apart though, right?)

it's totally worth checking out the UBC campus - though I warn you, you'll fall in love (it's BEAUTIFUL) and will end up moving out here. (disclaimer)

yeah, I know, I wasn't planning on walking across the rockies! Just seemed like if I'm heading out west anyways, could do both! Unfortunately it's looking more and more like the UBC program isn't for me, but we'll see.
