Just a quick one
Alright well its like 2 am and i have the extremly unpleasant chemistry class in about 7 hours but i feel really good. I thought the test was gonna completly grab me by the hips and give me 10 inches of love but i think i beat that C105 exam into the ground (not to blow my own horn...im sure that this was the easiest test of the semmester so...yeah no big accomplishment here) What is a really big accomplishment is that unless something goes wrong (and often things do) i have been selected to go to Japan (nagoya for all those who want to come and meet me there!) for the next academic year. I started looking through my possible class choices for next semmester and while im still not sure i want to go (berkeley is awfully tempting too) its looking really exciting...hehe i could take classes in ikebana...but i dont think the ancient art of flower arranging is soemthing id be particularly adept at..i have 0 artistic skill.
On a seperate subject my ER4S's are gods gift to ears...i am such a headphone fruitcake but these things have never failed to make a song sound better...im listening to J-pop on them right now for god sake..JPOP and it sounds great. If nothing else it really shows me the difference in production on songs..great songs usually have quiet a few more instruments in them than you realize. My fav example of this is the binary star song "reality check" sure its got that pretty fuzzy bass line and the chimy things but did you know their are hidden cellos in the background...oh they are so great! David Bowie music also tends to hold alot of surpris Bare in mind you dont have to spend ludicous amounts of your hard earned dough to get great sound..for anyone who wants to spend just a tad more (like ~30) i have some really great suggestions. Particularly koss' porta pro's. I will expound on their greatness at length when they arrive but suffice to say i had my first pair stolen and want another ^_^.
anyhow i could masturbate on and on about headphones but ill spare you the details. Tommorow night in the Flame room 8pm MC battle..be there baby!
