Hanabusa Aidou - Vampire Knight
1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?
--- Aidou's view on killing is a bit skewed. He kills Level Es all the time, usually on orders. But he wouldn't kill humans without a reason, and he wouldn't kill another noble vampire without it being to protect himself or someone he cares about. He can't kill Purebloods, but he would try if it was Rido.
2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?
--- There are a lot of things Aidou wouldn't want to do, but if Kaname asked him to do something...he would probably do it. So it depends on who is trying to make him do something. He can also be compelled by Purebloods into doing things he doesn't want to forcefully.
3. What do they dream about? [Either literal or figurative, specify please.]
--- Aidou's dreams are usually memories or very detailed "movie"-type dreams. He sees them clearly, and remembers most of them when he wakes up. The fact he dreams vividly is the reason he has problems sleeping after Rido-gate.
4. What's their biggest fear?
--- ....Doing something so stupid or making such a big mistake that Kaname will cast him away and never want to have anything to do with him ever again. Aidou cannot bear the thought of being hated by Kaname or being seen as useless or a liability to him.
5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?
--- Hmmmm.... This is kind of hard. As of where he is mentally and emotionally right now in Marina? The little cracked marble he has that Kaname returned to him as a child. Shhhh....I know it's anime canon, but it was too adorable
6. What is their fondest memory?
--- His fondest memory right now would be returning to Marina. Seeing Lenalee and remembering her and having Kaname-sama openly show concern for him (in his own Kaname-way) was very important to him.
7. What is their worst memory?
--- ......There are three days worth and all of them have to do with Rido.
8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.
--- Aidou's biggest influence, despite what some people say to the contrary is his love for Kaname. Almost everything he does comes back to the fact that he fell in love with Kaname at first sight and then he decided to turn his back on Kaname instead. He has done so many things in order to prove himself, his loyalty, and his love to Kaname since then. Now he's not as obsessive over it, and he's learned to control himself more, but that love for Kaname will always be one of the most prominent driving forces in his life.
9. What do they believe makes a successful life?
--- Accomplishing all of his goals and being acknowledged for his worth. For Aidou this means both as a scientist, and as someone that Kaname can count on.
10. What makes them laugh?
--- Silly things, cute things, humans who make fools of themselves while trying to get his attention.
11. What are their religious views?
--- What religion? Seriously, one of the big things left OUT of Vampire Knight is discussion of religion, gods, and anything of the like. Aidou is also a scientist. He may get too close to those he should see as test subjects, but he still maintains that observational and cynical mindset for the most part. If he sees anyone as his god...it's either Kaname or the Original Vampire.
12. What is their greatest strength?
--- Well besides the fact that Aidou can turn someone into ice and shatter them in less that five seconds, he is also a genius. He can figure things out faster than most...unless he's being obtuse.
13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?
--- Aidou is an arrogant, selfish, narcissist. An extreme attention-whore.
14. Who is the most important person in their life?
--- Kaname-sama. Not sure I need to explain more.
15. If they died, who would miss them most? How would they die?
--- If Aidou died, I would say that... Huh. I don't know really. I would say Lenalee, but really I can't think of someone who Aidou would cause irreparable emotional harm to should he die. Lenalee would be the most. Then Yuuki or Kaname maybe. He would probably die by being killed by a Pureblood or a Hunter, while in the act of protecting someone. Most likely Yuuki.
Miranda Lotto - D.Gray-man
1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?
--- Miranda would die for her friends in a heartbeat. She would do anything for them, and suffer anything if she thought it would help them. Killing is a different subject all together. If push came to shove, she would do it if she thought it was the only way, but it would be the last option to come to mind.
2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?
--- There is very little Miranda would refuse to do if she thought it was for the best interests of the people she cares about. She would never want to betray them, but if she was told she had to hurt a friend to save their lives...she might actually do it. It would hurt her and she would cry the entire time, but she might do it.
3. What do they dream about? [Either literal or figurative, specify please.]
--- Miranda figuratively dreams of being someone that people acknowledge and see as being useful. Her greatest wish is to be someone that people will want around and that she'll be useful enough they'll actually say "Thank you" to her. She'll do anything to prove herself.
4. What's their biggest fear?
--- The biggest fear Miranda has...losing all of her new friends. The Black Order has become her family and if she lost them, she would go back to being that useless, pathetic, lonely person again. Miranda can't stand that thought.
5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?
--- Miranda could not part with Time Record. Her Innocence is so close to her that she looks at it as her first real friend, and she believes it understands her better than anyone human can. The clock Time Record originated as reached out to her and saw worth in her before anyone else, so Miranda will always cherish it.
6. What is their fondest memory?
--- Miranda's fondest memory would be when Road attacked and she truly activated her Innocence. It was a horrible day filled with really dark memories as well, but when Allen told her "Thank you," it was having the one thing she had always wished for finally being fulfilled. She'll never forget the feeling of shock and amazement she had.
7. What is their worst memory?
--- Having to let go of the Time of Anita and her crew. She's moving on and staying strong, but every time she thinks of those people, all she can remember is the wonderful men and women who thanked her...only for her to let them all die. It's one of her greatest failures.
8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.
--- Miranda's most significant influence is her life. She never had a friend growing up and even when she grew into an adult, she was outcasted, mocked, and treated poorly by everyone around her. It's made her a nervous, anxious person who constantly fears upsetting others and she thinks that anyone who is ever kind to her only does it because they are nice people, not because they actually care about her. Because of this, Miranda is a very insecure person and she aches to please people and keep them from being angry or upset with her.
9. What do they believe makes a successful life?
--- For Miranda, a successful life is being with her friends and being able to be a strong person who can protect her friends and not be scared or so useless anymore. To be successful is to have been useful to someone.
10. What makes them laugh?
--- Jokes make her laugh, and sometimes when people do something silly or foolish, but she might feel bad for laughing after.
11. What are their religious views?
-- Miranda is religious and believes God exists. She grew up in a time when it was more shocking to NOT be religious. Of course, she's not the most strict Christian, but she is somewhat traditional in many of her views. She just doesn't trust in God very much. For Miranda, God exists, but she doesn't always see him as being the kindest or most just being, and instead puts more of her faith in the people she sees as her friends.
12. What is their greatest strength?
--- Miranda's greatest strength is her unwillingness to give up. Even when she was devastated by being fired from her 100th job, she still couldn't give up and just stop trying anymore. She will give all of herself and everything in her before she gives in and turns away from something she believes is important.
13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?
--- Miranda's greatest flaw is the fact she has ZERO sense of self-esteem and self-worth. She doesn't believe she is worth anything and bases her identity and how important she is by how those around her treat her. She's insanely needy and because of this she lives to please people and if will let them get away with a lot if she thinks it's for the sake of their friendship.
14. Who is the most important person in their life?
--- Allen and Lenalee are equally the most important people in her life. They're the ones who first saw her as being worth something and so she cherishes them so much. Allen gives her such a confidence boost just by being around while Lenalee makes her feel like she can speak to her about anything and Lenalee will understand her. Without them, she would still be in the Rewinding Town wishing the world would end.
15. If they died, who would miss them most? How would they die?
--- Allen, Lenalee, and the friends she's made in the Black Order. And I know it's a rather dark thing to think of, but Miranda will either be killed by an Akuma/the Noah, or she'll die from refusing to deactivate her Innocence and holding it until she uses up her entire life.
I also was poked with Josak and Johnny...who I will get to tomorrow. ^_^;;
