Ahhhhahah... I have sooo many feelings on LoK. XD I thought overall it worked really well as a single-season series (I know they didn't know they were going to be picked up for more, so for the allotted time they had, I think it worked), but am crazy excited for the Spirit World stuff in s2 D: I think the animation has matured a lot since ATLA also. And I'm still kinda reeling from the Tarrlok ending (like wtf...). I love Bolin, Naga, Lin, and General Iroh (and Makorra... nsfdjgh). :B You?

SAME ABOUT THE SPIRIT WORLD STUFF ME TOO. omg we have like opposite opinions on lok then /o\ sobs i thought the execution was really sloppily done like the plot felt more like a twenty-episode at least or something; and if bryke had gotten the atla writers instead of writing lok themselves i think those writers might've agreed... lmao i just thought twelve episodes for starting and finishing a revolution was kinda quick ahah /o\

I mean, I feel like s1 could have been better, but given that they had no idea it would go any further, I feel like it was done quite well with what little time they had. S1 felt like something that could have been stretched out (a lot), but with time constraints, it told the story it needed to. Hopefully now they have time to stretch out the rest of the story in a more organic way, since it's up for like... four seasons or something?? :3 (also definitely excited for Kya & Bumi)

OH YEAH okay ig it was good with the time constraint/length they had even though... yeah like at least the attempt was halfway decent!! lmao i hope the rest of lok isn't written by bryan and mike bc while i think they have great ideas they probably need a writing team like in atla for the execution to be more well-paced and everything :>

ah four seasons really?? i keep hearing different things but if it's four seasons then okay i have positive feelings about this!!

I know, I keep hearing different things too. D: I agree that they need a full team, though; the latter half of s2 of ATLA was one of their strongest points, I think, it was just the kind of collaboration that worked. As long as they answer some Spirit World questions I'll probably be happy with whatever else happens... haha... :3
