Football talk; feel free to pass on
Another work week begins. It's the first time in a month that I'll have to work an entire five day work week. I liked the other weeks better. LOL
Watched a boat load of football yesterday. Steelers were awful, and already have too many devastating injuries. It looks like it's going to be another disappointing season for the Black and Gold.
On the other hand, my Geno Smith (former WVU quarterback) won his game yesterday against Tampa Bay. Yes, it was a gimme with a stupid penalty by TB at the end, but a win is a win. And frankly, I thought he looked pretty good. With experience, he'll be even better.
The 49ers/Packers game was really good, and the Cowboys/Giants game was fantastic! I don't root for any of those teams, so I could enjoy the slings and arrows with impunity.
Two games tonight. I'm really looking forward to seeing how RGIII looks tonight. I do root for the Redskins, and love Robert. AND they've signed Pat White (another former WVU quarterback). I love Pat and hope that even as a backup, he has a great career.
Don't know if I'll be able to stay up to watch the second game, but I'll probably watch a bit. I don't have a dog in the hunt for the second game, so I'll probably only watch the first half, if that.
Oh, and in non-football talk, Fox kept showing the trailer for Sleepy Hollow yesterday, and man, it looks good! Now I'm all excited to watch it when it starts.
