Okay, I'll try, although my life is beyond boring.
Last month though I did things! Went to the Chicago Stargate convention in mid-August and then the Toronto Fan Expo (both with
ailurophile6), and saw David Hewlett both times. He looked gorgeous! And he's as adorkable and charming as ever. In Toronto, he appeared with his friend, director Vincenzo Natali, promoting Natali's new anthology series, Darknet, that's scheduled to appear on Canadian tv (and the web) sometime next year. David is in the first episode. Three of us from the Chicago con (me,
ailurophile6, and
artemis_prime) were in the front row, and David recognized us from there. Then when we were leaving, David was talking to some people, and we yelled, "Bye, David", and he came over and shook our hand, and thanked us for coming! He's so cute! Next year is supposed to be the last Stargate con, so I may go. But only if David is there, of course!
As for everything else, I'm still battling my diet/exercise program. However, Sunday, I made it to my first Zumba class, and it was fun. Tiring, OMG so tiring!, but fun. I was stiff as hell yesterday, but I feel good now. I didn't even know there were Zumba classes in my neighborhood, and there are two, each three days a week, and each within easy walking distance of my house. One is free and the other is $3 (proceeds going to improve the local elementary school playground equipment). I'm planning on going at least a couple times a week.
Had my girly doctor appointment today. Fun. *snort*
Football season is back! I'm so excited.
Project Runway has been great this season, and the episode before last had me in tears! (Haven't seen last Thursday's episode yet.) I don't cry over reality shows, but that episode made me do it.
I spent almost the entire Labor Day weekend playing hidden object games on my computer.
I haven't been reading a lot lately, but I have about a million books downloaded to my Kindles, so, you know, I have stuff to read. Since I bought my Fire, however, I have a tendency to play a game rather than read one of the books I own.
And I think that's enough for this post. I'll try to remember to post again tomorrow.
