So, as of today, my paid livejournal account is no more. It was supposed to run out in January, but they extended it because of outages in December or January or both. Whatever. cool about ancestry. I wish they weren't so expensive or at least that I had had more luck on the free weekends to justify the cost

Yeah, it's pretty cool. I looked at it (he shared his log in name & password), but I'm afraid I'll do something and mess up all his hard work. LOL

Ancestry.com is pretty interesting. I use it when they offer a freebie.

As for LJ, i have never been a paid member. Whatever they offer free is fine with me.

I poked around in it a bit, but I was afraid I'd mess up all the stuff my brother had already found. LOL

I *hate* the changes LJ is foisting on us, like this crappy comment module. It's why I won't give them any more money.
