I love my Mountaineers, but...

That was an inexcusably bad showing against Marshall. Congratulations to the Thundering Herd and Head Coach Doc Holliday on a tough game. They really showed a lot of talent in their defense regardless of their thumping by Ohio State last week. I don't know what Bill Stewart and his coaches need to do to get WVU into gear, but they need something because last week's win, while 31 - 0, was pretty lackluster against a no-name school, and now almost losing against Marshall... I just don't know.

I will say though that I think our new quarterback, Geno Smith, seems really talented, and Noel Devine remains a remarkable player. We have the tools, they just need to be sharpened.

WVU - 24
Marshall - 21
