I haz work to do today. Boo!
Getting near the end of the fiscal year, and I need to get all my invoices gathered up and ready to pay. And then I need to download a report from the HUD website and begin the process of doing my financial end of year reports. Yuck.
My yard guy finally showed up last night, so I have a nicely mown lawn again. I'm very happy about that.
Kroger has fresh salmon fillets on sale this week, so I stopped by the store last night and bought one for my dinner. I've never fixed fresh salmon before, and wasn't sure what to do with it, but I ended up seasoning it and wrapping it in Reynold's Wrap and grilling it on my indoor electric grill. It turned out pretty good, though it could have used just a bit more seasoning. I served it with rice and veggies, and I have enough for dinner tomorrow night. Tonight I'm going to my great-niece's sixth birthday party at my brother's.
One of my cliche_bingo prompts is rare pairings, and I've been wondering what would make a good rare pairing. To be honest, I don't read a lot of rare pairing fic because I'm usually only interested in my main people. How does one determine if a pairing fits that category? Is Zelenka/Lorne considered a rare pairing? I'm sure Zelenka/Chuck would be. Larry/Xander? Oz/Buffy? Donna/Jack? Oooooh, Donna/Jack! That'd be fun, if I thought for a minute I could write it.
You know what I'd really like? A solid night's sleep. That would be awesome! *yawn*
