How I spent my Saturday
Not doing a whole lot actually. Visited mom, did my grocery shopping, and then I decided to watch a bit of the television shows I'm behind on.
I ended up having to, um, find alternative means to watch Merlin since surfthechannel apparently has, in the last few days, had to remove all the links to illegal uploads. :-( However, other means were available and I have the entire season at my disposal. I had only watched the first episode, so, yeah, pretty far behind. I rewatched the first episode and then watched the next two. I'm enjoying the show. I'm not in love with it, but it's enjoyable enough. I actually think my favorite character is Giaus.
Then I watched the first three episodes of Primeval. I've seen them, of course, but I decided to just start all over with the series so that when I get to the episodes I haven't seen, I'll remember what's going on. Yeah, I'm old and my short-term memory sucks.
Following that I watched two episodes of Heroes. I was going to watch them on the network website, but they only have the five latest episodes online, and I was further behind on that. Fortunately, I was able to find the two episodes I needed to watch, however, the audio was so out of sync it was like watching a very badly dubbed 1960s Japanese monster movie. LOL Still I'm caught up to where I can go to NBC and watch the rest of the episodes. I was kind of surprised that I actually really liked the two eps. I watched last night. The show's been so all over the place this season that I was having a hard time making any sense out of it - which is why I'm so far behind. But those two were much better. I have high hopes for the remaining five I need to watch. And seriously, how much am I loving Sylar this season? *g*
I also watched Friday night's episode of Sanctuary so I'm all caught up there.
Now I need to catch up on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Stargate Atlantis, last season's 24, and the last two episodes of last season's Battlestar Galactica. I'm sure there are other shows I'm behind on, but those are the ones I'm most interested in getting caught up on. Since we're coming into the holiday season and most shows are going on winter hiatus, I'll have time to catch up, I'm sure.
But today? FOOTBALL!!!! *g*
