The bus jolted and swayed, and she pulled away when the faintly sour-smelling old woman in the next seat bumped into her again.
She could hardly wait to get off this dirty, smelly bus and away from these people; the snoring drunk guy, the girl who looked like a runaway that eyed everyone suspiciously, and the skeevy guy with the oily smile that gave her the heebie-jeebies.
And, really, this was good material, she told herself comfortingly. Someday, when she wrote her autobiography, Cordelia Chase would tell the world the amusing story of how she first traveled to Los Angeles.
