i wish it would rain at this point. I have no plans to ruin and it's stinky hot (see me being lazy and not wanting to water the garden)

I had the door open for a while, but then the humidity hit so I had to turn on the a/c.

i got that rain and lost power for about 5 hours

Oh, ewww. My lights flickered a few times, but the power stayed on. Hope at least it cooled down a bit for you.
