One more work day until vacation. Yay!
So big news in the Who community. I really don't care because I'm not a big Who fan. I enjoyed Nine well enough, but I haven't seen any of Ten yet. And as for Rose, well, I didn't love her, didn't hate her either based on the one season I saw of her. The thing is, I'd assumed that everyone knew she was leaving because I'd read something months ago about her leaving after this season. Maybe she was just thinking about leaving? Anyway, I'm sorry for those who really liked her. I know how painful it is when I character you really love leaves a show.
Got a call from my mom and I have to slog over to their place after I get off work. They're having trouble with their tv. Now it could be that the remote lost the code again that activates the signal they need to turn the tv on and I simply need to reprogram it again, or it could be that that old dinosaur has finally wandered into an arroyo and been drowned in a flash flood. If it's dead, I'm just going to go home and order a tv that I've already researched from Circuit City.com, use the 10% discount coupon I have that expires today, and make my brother go pick it up, schlep it to the parents, set it up, and haul the old tv out. He's the boy. That's his job. :)
