right! So I don't have a job, I quit Cardinal health & told em to shove it. My moms friend has a business & needs an accountant so I applied, knowing NOTHING about accounting, and she called me back. Bombarded by the sound of her directness I'm slightly afraid to meet with her. I don't think I want to work for her, or as an accountant for all that matter. So I hauled ass to IHOP! The girl up at the front was super cool & was like "He's ALWAYS hiring!" So I got excited. she told me to put down my info on a piece of paper & he'd call me the next day. No application needed. AWESOME. And if that doesn't work out, I talked to Lydia at Starbucks & she said she's put in a good word for me. So I know Ihop isn't the coolest place? But I'd get to make tips, & thats cool. And if I DO get it, everyone come in & sit in my tables! I'm sure I'll get tired of seeing old people eating pancakes all day, but it's alright, I only gotta do it for about 4 months & then School will be done!
School! I'm going to school to be a Medical Transcriptionist/medical administrative specialist. In small words, I'll be at a desk, working at my own speed, no one breathing down my neck, typing up perscriptions, answering phones, dealing with patients perhaps. who knows. And if I do the Medical Transcriptonist job full time, I could work at home! how cool is that. Hi my name is Audrey, I'm 21 and I work at home! And the best thing is, is that the school I'm gunna be going to is super flexible. I need to be at school for 440 clocked hours, and then I get certified, AND I can go ANY time of the day! One day I could go in at 9am, the next day I could go in at 6pm, it doesn't matter. So I figure if I go four days a week for five hours a day, I can get done in about three & a half/four months. Sounds like a plan to me.
Other than that, life is good. My week & a half break has been good. Not having to work ten hours a day, breaking my back has been really nice. Isaac applied at Cache Creek to be a security guard & was basically hired today. Now he has to choose if he can do the hours they're giving him. He'd be working both Cardinal health, AND Cache creek. But the security guard position is more of a just walking around job. He;s way too overqualified, but needs this job to pay off some previous bills & such.
Thats about it for me. When I start school (which should be liikkkeeee next week?) I'll be acrossed the street from the arden fair mall, and can leave class whenever I want, so if anyone is around there & wants to go out for lunch, call me up! My cell is (916) 270-5069
