Must Keep Brain Fresh
I've been trying to keep my brain fresh by reading new things, mixing it up, trying new things. I felt like my head was getting mushy lately.
So, armed with a quick read of an online tutorial on how to layout a face on a grid, I drew my first ever face today. Anything I've ever done in my first 29 years has been random shapes and scribbles, so this was my first intentional drawing of anything, really:
I still don't like the (stage) right eye... I accidentally smidged it with an eraser, and never could get it quite right again. Notably, this wasn't much bigger than a postage stamp, and was done with a crappy mechanical pencil. But I feel okay about it!
