Work angst
I have been working at a McDonald's inside a Wal-Mart for about 3 weeks now.
Mind you, I have about 10 years of experience with the clown and have worked several different stores.
This store has got to be the WORST store I have ever worked it.
It's a small store, so we don't have a full menu, such as quarter pounder meat patties.
No parfaits, no bacon, no scrambled or folded eggs.
The store (head) manager has NO TRAINING to be a store manager!
She was crew at another store, and the owner just threw her in as manager at this other store, the one I am at now.
Every store runs out of something at least once a month... It happens.
THIS store, this past week alone, ran out of Nuggets AND napkins AND ketchup packets AND meat! Oh, and we ran out of Nemo toys!
We ran out of large cups, salt packets, and those child size cookies that come 3 cookies to a pack.
When I left on Thursday night, they were dangerously low on fries, but truck was Friday morning, so i guess they survived that.
Let's see... we also ran out of apple pies and didn't have those for 1 1/2 weeks.
OH MY GOD I HAVE GOT TO GET OUT OF THERE!
