My family sucks out loud.
i cooked this year. There was only 4 of us.
20 lb turkey, stuffing, sweet taters, biscuits, champagne, salad. All of this made from basic ingridiments, not store bought fixed. I made the salad, peeled and cut the taters, home made biscuits. Took me three days to do everything so it would be set up for today. I even cut veggies and made ranch dip for snacking. However, I DID by Stove Top Stuffing, cause I've no clue on how to make that.
I took a nap after the basic cleanup, leaving the turkey out for someone else to put away.
I wake up from a 4 hour nap (I was more tired than I thought) and the fricking turkey was still on the counter.
I didn't expect a thank you for all the hard work i did, but the LEAST they could have done is finish cutting up the damn bird and PUT IT AWAY!!!!!
Grrrr.
