Living life on the opposite side of bliss, all I can tell you is that only you know what is going to work for you. If I was your mother, I would say the same things as the real thing did. I mean, hell, the woman has spent your entire life protecting you. Now you are talking about leaving the safe little nest she has built for you. To be honest, she is probably scared out of her head. You move out on your own, she still has some control. You move out with someone else (especially a guy) she has little to no control. See it from both sides. I'm sure she didn't want to plant doubt and worry in your head. She just wants you to think and make sure you are doing what you really want to do. In the end she will be supportive. As will I!!!!!
Whatever decision you make, be excited, be happy and embrace the life that follows the decision. No regrets and no second guessing. Also, thoughts become things, so all those daydreams you are having? Keep them in mind for the future. You have more power than you think.
Love and Blessings!
