Reassured by the promise of not homemade drinks, Duo arrives at the party with green face paint, stitches drawn on his forehead, and a neck bolt. "Am I the first one to get here?"

Teppei's outfit is similar to Duo's, although with a mix of green and gray body paint, a number of scars, and tattered clothing.

Kusuha starts briefly, since seeing these particular two guys as dead people is a little unnerving. Their outfits are cheesy enough it's temporary, though.

"Hey! Um, I'm not expecting a big turnout, so help yourselves to anything you like," she says to the first couple of arrivals. "This might end up being more of a snack bar than a party..."

"I believe someone promised food and drinks!"

It seems the party lured in a Touhou character! Watch out, or she will start stealing everything not bolted down, Precious Things included.

Okay, it's only Teana in Marisa's costume.

"Oh, Kusuha! Your costume looks just like we planned. It's great!"

And Teana brought a friend along too!

"You helped make that Tea?" Subaru asks, marveling at the design. "It's great!"

To complete the Touhou theme, Subaru is dressed as Reimu. And no, Tea didn't steal her Precious Thing before coming. That was done quite a while ago, thank you very much.

Of course, she's already spying the refreshments in a way you'd think she was starving.

"Oh, th-thanks, both of you! You two look really cute too," Kusuha says, blushing. "I never expected to see someone dressed up as a shrine maiden nowadays..."

Seeing them eying the food, she smiles. "Oh, help yourselves. There's candy and normal snack foods...I tried to go with fairly healthy ones to balance out the candy, but it's hard getting anything but fried things in bulk..."

Teana eyes the snacks. Better to stay away from the 'healthy' ones, just in case. It is Kusuha after all.

"You have a pretty nice one on as well, Miss Hawke," a certain woman in ridiculously antiquated (yet still rather fashionable) clothing says as she makes her entrance.

"And why didn't you ask if you could use some of my drinks, Kusuha? I'm sure I could have found a bottle or five to part with for the festivities."

And Rai makes his way in shortly after Ennil, in an equally antiquated but much more red costume.

That is to say, he's the Red Baron.

"It seems like quite a few of the guests are underage."

"Oh, I'm not saying we phase out the nonalcoholic things. I'm sure everyone would be responsible. This is a holiday; no reason to be fixed on following the rules."

"Um, thank you Ms. Ennil, but I didn't want to impose or anything..." Kusuha says, just happy that people are actually showing up. The ease with which Kusuha herself usually gets drunk is probably part of her reasoning too.

"Don't worry. I'm sure the underaged part of this party has enough control to police themselves."

That was a lie. Teana had to monitor Subaru to make sure she doesn't choke on sweets and other food the other girl was undoubtedly scarfing down en masse. Or at least, in Teana's imagination she was. Adding alcohol to the mix wouldn't make this any better.
